tribute
This movie is dedicated to Graham Leggat,
director of the San Francisco Film Society (1960-2011)
I did not know Graham Leggat very well. I had the pleasure of meeting with him in San Francisco at a bar called La Tosca. We talked about his futuristic novel, cinema, my projects, and films that I’d written and that he liked. It was very friendly.
He asked me « why not making a movie, here in San Francisco? ».
We kept in touch through emails and he always had good advice. We met up again a few times. His smile was a call to life.
I kept thinking about his question. He planted a seed that took a while to blossom.
It was when I learned of his death that the seed started to grow. A ghost slipped into my thoughts, and I called it Graham. A ghost who also shares with Graham, love of cinema.
So, of course, this film is dedicated to him. Because that day in the bar, what he told me was, in fact: action!

I think Graham would have shared this idea that imagination can allow us to move forward and to progress in our daily lives.
